These Terms apply to all users of IDash, including self-employed individuals, independent contractors, and 1099 workers who use our mileage tracking services.

2. Description of Service

IDash is a mileage tracking application designed to help users:

• Track business-related travel and mileage
• Calculate potential tax deductions based on IRS rates
• Generate reports for tax preparation purposes
• Maintain IRS-compliant records of business travel

IDash is a tool to assist with record-keeping and does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice.

3. User Account and Responsibilities

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to use IDash
• One account per user; multiple accounts are not permitted

Acceptable Use

You agree to use IDash only for legitimate business mileage tracking purposes. You will not:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to circumvent or disable security features
• Share your account with others
• Upload malicious code or attempt to hack the service
• Use the service to track non-business related trips for tax deduction purposes

4. Location Services and Data Accuracy

IDash requires access to your device's location services to function properly. By using IDash, you acknowledge that:

• Location accuracy depends on your device's GPS capabilities and environmental factors
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of recorded trips
• You should review and edit trip details as necessary before using them for tax purposes
• IDash provides distance calculations as estimates; actual distances may vary

5. Tax and Legal Compliance

• You are responsible for determining which trips qualify as business expenses
• You must ensure all claimed deductions comply with IRS regulations
• IDash deduction calculations are estimates based on current IRS rates
• Consult with a qualified tax professional for specific tax advice
• You are responsible for maintaining additional documentation as required by the IRS

6. Subscription and Payment Terms

IDash may offer both free and premium subscription tiers:

• Free tier includes basic mileage tracking functionality
• Premium subscriptions provide additional features and capabilities
• Subscription fees are charged through our payment processor, Stripe.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• There will be no refunds of any kind given more than 30 days after the subscription period ends.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The IDash application, including its design, features, and content, is owned by IDash, Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the application
• You retain ownership of your trip data and personal information
• You grant us a license to process your data to provide our services
• Feedback or suggestions you provide may be used to improve our service

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IDash, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

• Tax penalties or additional tax liability
• Data loss or corruption
• Business interruption

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IDash, Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service in violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Inaccurate tax deductions or claims based on IDash data
• Any third-party claims related to your use of the service

12. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

• You may delete your account and stop using the service
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms
• Upon termination, you may export your data for a reasonable period
• Certain provisions of these Terms will survive termination

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through:
